This "Música na Tabacaria" concert features Coolab Contemp, a collective dedicated to creating and sharing contemporary art. The collective promotes new creators, composers and performers, particularly in Portugal's Central region and interior, and the series itself focuses on emerging and independent projects.
Coolab Contemp, founded in 2021 by musicians Dulcineia Guerra and Jorge Oliveira, will present a contemporary approach to saxophone and electronics. Jorge Oliveira is a composer whose works were presented at the European Saxophone Congress (EurSax).
The concert is held in the Tabacaria, a café-concert space on the ground floor of the Oficina Municipal Do Teatro (OMT), a cultural facility in Coimbra managed by O Teatrão. It starts at 10pm and costs €6.
