The Funchal Guitar Quartet is a chamber music group from Funchal, aiming to be Portugal's premier guitar ensemble. Its four members — Rita Miragaia, Emanuel Faria, Romeu Curto, and Rafael Abreu — bring diverse musical backgrounds including fado, classical, and theatre.
The performance, which includes live commentary on the pieces in English, is held inside the historic 19th-century St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, known for its distinctive acoustics. Guests receive a welcome glass of Madeira wine.
It starts at 9pm. Tickets are €25.
