Mão Morta
Saturday, 21 November 2026 at 21:30 · Teatro Cinema De Fafe, Fafe · Starting at €8.05
A concert by Mão Morta is conceived as a commemorative show for their 40th anniversary and the 50th anniversary of the 25 de Abril revolution. The performance warns of the dangers of returning to fascism and criticises polarising political discourse.
Formed in Braga in 1984, Mão Morta are a Portuguese avant-garde rock band known for their intense and dark live concerts. Their music blends punk rock, metal, industrial, and experimental styles, with lyrics often reflecting urban violence and social critique.
Vocalist Adolfo Luxúria Canibal is recognised for his gravelly, half-sung, half-spoken style and occasional onstage theatrics. The show takes place at Teatro Cinema De Fafe, a fully restored municipal theatre with an unusually carved, pink façade decorated with winged cupids.
It starts at 9.30pm. Tickets are €8.05–16.11.
