SVANEBORG KARDYB + VEGA TRAILS | MISTY FEST
Wednesday, 18 November 2026 at 21:00 · Casa Da Música - Sala 2, Porto · €20
Part of Misty Fest 2026, Portugal's autumn festival for curated live music, this double concert presents new albums from both artists in one of the festival's prestigious halls.
Danish Nordic Jazz duo Svaneborg Kardyb, Nikolaj Svaneborg (keyboards) and Jonas Kardyb (drums), present their new album "Superkilen", named after a Copenhagen park. Their sound blends electronic, energetic, and contemplative elements with folk and jazz ideas.
Vega Trails, the project by double-bassist and composer Milo Fitzpatrick, a founding member of Portico Quartet, presents "Sierra Tracks". This expansive, cinematic chamber-jazz album, conceived in the Sierra de Guadarrama mountains, explores the relationship between mind complexity and movement in nature, featuring piano, vibraphone, and strings.
The concert is at Casa Da Música - Sala 2, the second largest hall, which has a flat floor and its red color inspired by Italian Baroque theaters. It starts at 9pm and tickets are €20 in Porto.
