Privacy & terms

This page covers how Raydr handles your data, our cookie and advertising use, and the terms of using the app. Raydr aggregates public events and links out to ticketing platforms — we don’t sell tickets ourselves.

What we collect

• Location — used only to show events near you and power the distance filter. It’s processed on your device; we do not store your precise location on our servers. You can browse without it.
• Anonymous usage — we log event interactions (views, “Get Tickets” and “Directions” taps) to understand what’s popular and measure referrals. These records carry no name, account, or device identifier.
• Saved events — kept locally on your device, not on our servers.

Cookies & storage

• On the web, Raydr keeps a little data in your browser’s local storage — your chosen location, your saved events and your consent choices — so the app remembers your setup between visits. Clearing site data removes it.
• Advertising — on the web we show ads supplied by Google AdSense. Google may set cookies or read device identifiers to deliver and measure those ads, and, where you have consented, to personalise them. In the EEA, UK and Switzerland we ask for that consent before any advertising cookie is set, and you can change or withdraw it at any time from the cookie settings in the consent prompt, or by clearing this site’s data in your browser. You can also turn off ad personalisation across Google’s products at adssettings.google.com. The Raydr mobile apps show no ads.
• Ticketing platforms you tap through to may set their own cookies; that’s governed by their policies, not ours.

Third parties

• Event and ticket links point to platforms such as Eventbrite, Shotgun and venue sites; their privacy policies apply once you leave Raydr. Our backend is hosted on Supabase, web usage statistics come from Google Analytics, and web advertising is supplied by Google AdSense. For the data it collects through ads and analytics, Google acts as an independent controller under its own privacy policy.

Your rights

We don’t sell your data. Under GDPR you can request access to or deletion of any data relating to you at the privacy address below. Where we rely on your consent — advertising and analytics cookies on the web — you can withdraw it at any time, and the rest of the app keeps working without it. Saved events can be removed by un-saving them or clearing app storage.

Terms of use

Raydr is provided as-is, for free. Event details — times, prices, line-ups — are sourced from third parties and can change or be wrong; always confirm on the ticketing platform before you travel or buy. We’re not the seller or organiser, and aren’t responsible for tickets, entry, refunds or the events themselves. Don’t scrape, resell or republish Raydr’s listings without permission.
