MONDO NEGRO X ZDB: POISON RUÏN + BATED BREATH
Wednesday, 4 November 2026 at 21:00 · Galeria Zé Dos Bois, Lisbon · €15
Mondo Negro and ZDB partner for this live concert featuring the 'dark age punk' of Philadelphia quartet Poison Ruïn. Originally a one-man DIY project by Mac Kennedy, their sound is distinctive for its medieval aesthetics, incorporating dungeon synth intros and interludes. Their lyrical themes explore both medieval history and modern political commentary.
They are joined by punk band Bated Breath. Its music is composed and recorded by an individual, with five people performing it live. The evening takes place at Galeria Zé Dos Bois, an independent cultural institution in an 18th-century building known for hosting experimental music concerts.
The show starts at 9pm and runs for three hours. Tickets are €15.
