RAIZ - ANDRÉ ROSINHA TRIO / BÔ JAZZ FEST 2ª ED.
Tuesday, 17 November 2026 at 21:00 · Teatro Municipal De Bragança, Bragança · €6
The André Rosinha Trio presents "Raiz", the new album from Portuguese double bassist and composer André Rosinha. His 2025 release blends jazz with improvised music. It also incorporates traditional Portuguese music. André Rosinha’s compositions feature elegant melodies, influenced by classical, European jazz. This live concert is part of the BÔ JAZZ FEST 2ª ED., a festival which pays tribute to Francisco Vicente de Sousa, who promoted jazz in Bragança.
The trio features André Rosinha, known for his four albums under his own name, alongside two significant figures in Portuguese jazz. João Paulo Esteves da Silva, a pianist, composer, and improviser, is considered one of the most original figures in Portuguese jazz and contemporary music. Marcos Cavaleiro, a Portuguese jazz drummer born in Basel, has been a member of the Orquestra Jazz de Matosinhos since 2007. They perform at the Teatro Municipal De Bragança, a venue with optimized acoustic conditions.
The concert begins at 9pm. Tickets are €6.
