The Sexteto de Jazz de Lisboa, the oldest Portuguese jazz group, brings its 40th anniversary tour to Bragança. This live concert celebrates a rare meeting of different generations, influences, and paths in Portuguese jazz.
The line-up includes pianist and composer Mário Laginha, known for his collaborations with Maria João, and saxophonist Ricardo Toscano, considered one of the most prominent names in Portuguese jazz. Drummer and producer Mário Barreiros, trumpeter and flugelhorn player Tomás Pimentel, saxophonist Edgar Caramelo, and double bassist Francisco Brito complete the sextet.
