Pensão Amor hosts a club night of house and electronic music, featuring Portuguese DJ João Melgueira.
Melgueira leads the Alienação label and co-organises Química parties. He is known for his eclectic sets, crossing genres from world music to disco, and playing techno, tech house, and latino vibes.
The venue, formerly a brothel or guesthouse, is located on Rua Nova do Carvalho in Cais do Sodré, also known as Pink Street. It features a decadent lounge bar and an old-style disco, with decor inspired by its past through burlesque posters, mirrors, velvet, and pole dancing poles.
The night runs for six hours from 10pm at Pensão Amor. Tickets are available at the door only.
